But by questioning the foundations of Western development and rejecting extreme worldliness, the Islamic Revolution of Iran said that there is no need to resort to Western models in social development.
– By rejecting the theory of development and life without spirituality, the Islamic revolution opened a new value space for the world, in which both material and spiritual needs are answered.
Popularity: One of the characteristics and values of Iran’s Islamic Revolution is its popularity. That is, Islam has the ability to mobilize masses of people.

Global model: The Islamic revolution aims to create a world order based on religion in the world, and to achieve this goal, it has adopted two strategies. First, following a short-term program with the aim of confronting globalization in the western sense and trying to prevent the establishment of a world system based on western teachings and values. And secondly, the implementation of a long-term program in order to weaken Western globalization by presenting a picture of a desirable and ideal Islamic system and arousing the enthusiasm of the world for this government.
The ideal world system from the point of view of the Islamic revolution
۱- This system is the same system of imamate and ummah which was formed under the leadership of the infallible imam, and the imam establishes a just system by taking advantage of his knowledge, infallibility and divine assistance, and all nations, states and lands leads to human and Islamic perfection under the title of one nation.
Leadership and imamate in the Islamic world system has three characteristics: First, leadership is the center of belief, spirituality and politics. Secondly, the leader is chosen by the Prophet or directly (special Nawab) and indirectly (general deputy) of the Infallible Imam. Thirdly, taking over the government is related to the acceptance of the people.
۲- The global Islamic society has complete independence, flourishes talents and fulfills the basic and essential human innate and spiritual needs. In this system, there is no mention of national ties, multiple and deceitful leaderships, human fallible laws, and Satan’s rule, which is the root of conflicts, arguments, and controversies in the world.
۳- Humans in the desirable global Islamic society entrust the actions of God’s sovereignty and law on earth to the divine leader. In fact, God’s sovereignty is manifested in the form of the will of the Imam and removes the existing credit and contractual boundaries in the world.
The results that should be obtained from the relationship and interaction of the Islamic revolution with the Islamic awakening are many and numerous, for example:
– Although the Islamic awakening has a long history, the Islamic revolution played a decisive role in its expansion and deepening.
– The influence of the Islamic Revolution on the Islamic awakening is confirmed from various aspects, for example, from the words of Imam Khomeini and the positions of the Supreme Leader, as well as from the growth of Islamic developments in recent decades, the impact of the Iranian Revolution on the Islamic awakening movement can be seen.
Also, the Islamic Revolution of Iran intensified the idea of trying to achieve equality and social justice among the people of the world and developed the reaction of Muslims against the West and Westernization.
