More than 250,000 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip have started a huge march from the southernmost area of the Gaza Strip, namely Rafah, and they intend to support the Palestinian prisoners held by the Zionist regime by passing through the streets and cities of the central and northern part of this besieged area at the Beit Hanoun crossing. One of the organizers of this huge popular march, Nasser Bohadeh, said that a quarter of a million Palestinian women, men, children and the elderly marched through the streets and alleys of the Palestinian refugee camps everywhere in the Gaza Strip, from Rafah in the southernmost point to Beit Hanoun in the north. They have started to sit in the Erez crossing (Beit Hanoun) in a rare action, to declare their solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners and to demand the release of all the Palestinian prisoners.

According to this report, a large number of Palestinian political, resistance and public figures are also present in this popular march.

In this march, it has been said that all the participants will only sing the slogan of unity and freedom of the prisoners and will only hold the Palestinian flag in their hands.

Also, the families of Palestinian prisoners and martyrs also carry pictures of their martyred and captured children.

The organizers of this demonstration have announced that they will never return to their homes until their children are freed from the dungeons of the Zionist regime.

The picture of the oldest Palestinian prisoner from the Gaza Strip in the Zionist jail, Salim Al-Kyal, is one of the big pictures in the hands of the participants of the said march. The participants also carry pictures of Ahmed Saadat, Secretary General of the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Marwan Al Barghouti, Secretary General of the Fatah Movement in the West Bank.

The participants also carry placards with the words “We will not accept Shalit’s freedom unless our prisoners are freed”.

 Faraune said in this regard: With a unified voice, we announce to Shalit’s family and his supporters and those who are in a similar march towards Jerusalem, we also support you in exerting pressure on your government as the main obstacle to the exchange of prisoners, and announce that if you want to be alive You are Shalit, all Palestinian prisoners should be freed.

It is expected that the groups that started their movement from Rafah to the north of the Gaza Strip will enter this area in five or six days. It should be noted that since last Tuesday, more than 10 supporters of Gilad Shalit, a Zionist soldier captured by Hamas, have started a movement towards Jerusalem to sit in front of the house of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and they intend to put pressure on Netanyahu to Accept Hamas’ demands for the release of 1,000 Palestinian prisoners.
