Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, at the beginning of his speech at the Palestine Conference this morning, asked the audience to recite a Fatiha on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of “Malcolm X”, the leader of the American Black people.
Malcolm X was a black fighter who was born in 1925 in the US state of Ohio. He was the seventh child in the family. His father was a religious priest and one of the people who worked for the civil rights of blacks.
Malcolm was no more than four years old when he saw with his own eyes a group of white Americans burned his house and displaced his family. Malcolm X, the black militant leader of America, spent his childhood in poverty and orphanhood, he hoped to be able to earn a rank in the American educational system and reach his favorite profession, lawyer.
Malcolm X dropped out of school and decided to be free. He removed all restrictions and experienced a free period in the American society of that day. He gradually got to know Muslim blacks. People from the “Muslim Nation” group, the most prominent of which was “Alijah Muhammad”. They said about Islam. Unity, brotherhood and equality were three inseparable principles in Islam and racial discrimination had no meaning in it.
Malcolm was first influenced by the ideas of “Elijah Muhammad”, the leader of the Nation of Islam group, and began to completely oppose the whites. But after traveling to Hajj and getting to know the religion of Islam, he believed in the complete equality of human beings. He sought to awaken the pride of the black race living in America through civil and social activities.
Malcolm also did not believe in the idea of non-violent struggle and believed that if the government was not willing or able to provide justice and security for blacks, they could protect themselves with violence. Malcolm X’s father was killed by the Ku Klux Klan.
Malcolm X, after returning from Hajj rituals, chose the name “Hajj Malek Shabbaz” for himself. He returned to his place of residence in America with a pure and refined soul and tried to create a wide organization to call the Muslims of the world to empathy and anti-tyranny with different races. Malcolm was on the threshold of the road when his house was set on fire, and because he survived this incident, a week later, at the age of 39, while giving a speech at the Manhattan Ballroom, they ended his tumultuous life by firing several bullets. Malcolm X died when he did not see the opening of his twin daughters in this world. But they and the lasting generations after them came to continue the half-finished path of Haj Malik Shabbaz.
