When a name of “cultural invasion” is mentioned,  Some people take a pointless position, but let’s believe one  A simple Buddha statue, a seashell, a three-legged toad

The shape of the soldiers of this invasion  , in the soft power uniform of Feng Shui  They have targeted our beliefs.

Perhaps, since mankind in the 21st century distanced itself from the divine principles and with the increasing progress of science, it distanced itself from spirituality and reached the border of depression; He decided to look for a spirituality of his own making, to search for the ideal world behind it and achieve the happiness he expected.

In the environment around us, it is sometimes heard that some people, in search of their imaginary happiness, are drawn towards colorful but empty mysticisms. “Feng Shui” is also one of the cases that has been able to attract people interested in Iran during several years of activity, but the validity and reliability of Feng Shui requires further investigation, which we will follow up in this report.

Feng Shui; Superstition or reality?

in the definition of feng shui It means wind and water, it is an ancient philosophy and art in China and it is used to find the right decoration and the right arrangement of things in residential, commercial buildings, gardens, etc. to have the best effect on health, happiness, success, harmony and In general, what is positive energy? The most important things to observe are avoiding disorder and any accumulation, using the right colors, curved lines, considering the right directions, although today it is officially considered superstition in China. Proponents of this belief say: Most people are indifferent to their living environment and are unaware of the effects that this environment has on them. Now, it is said that the environment in which we live is a complete environment based on the mutual interactions of the solar system (sky), the surrounding environment (earth) and the date of birth (individual). Therefore, for a peaceful and balanced life harmony with the solar system, the earth and even the date of birth seems necessary. This harmony and harmony is created by methods such as feng shui. teaches Feng Shui specifies how to create a beneficial environment for yourself by using the right colors, the right living things and the right way to arrange them and turn your work environment, business or home into centers of power. About the exact history of Feng Shui or its creator. There is no reliable document at hand. Only in the last eighty years have they managed to discover a few documents and documents belonging to the third and fourth centuries BC, in which Feng Shui is indirectly mentioned..

Feng Shui remained in the hearts and minds of ordinary people and through the code language between masters and students, and the secrets of this art were preserved from breast to breast. For this reason, few of its written texts have remained. Some researchers believe that the wisdom and application of Feng Shui was written at the same time as the theory of yin (cold) and yang (warm) and worldview ideas based on the five Chinese elements, earth (soil). ), metal, water, forest (wood) and fire, has been codified. The theory of feng shui examines the relationship between the universe and humans and its purpose is to create unity between heaven, earth, man and matter through the force of Tachi (absolute end). . The ancient Chinese believed that when this unity exists, “chi” (vital forces) flows in living and inanimate beings and causes good and productive events to occur. The lack of flow of “chi” brings the opposite result, that is, bad luck, disorder and worry. The main focus of the art of Feng Shui is the unity between heaven, earth and man. The ancient Chinese were searching for a means to explain the visible and invisible forces on the earth and the mysterious influence of these forces on human behavior. And they were looking for a spirituality that would give them shelter during hardships and disasters and reach peace and comfort. The goal of the ancient Chinese was the unity of man and nature, and they intended to achieve unity with the unity between man and the universe. In fact, by preventing the wastage of resources and then creating good energies around man, feng shui creates a balanced and balanced relationship between man and his environment, and man realizes that he is one with his environment and understands the inner connection between factors. The interesting thing is that feng shui can be used anywhere and anyone can benefit from it according to their needs. One of the most important topics that Feng Shui deals with is the work environment. If everyone’s work and life environment is surrounded by healthy vibrations, he himself will also stay healthy. The followers of this thinking are trying to increase the number of Feng Shui fans with the above justifications.

When we go to some stores selling feng shui products, we come across these sentences: These items bring blessings to your home, these signs can improve your relationship with your spouse, this statue moves its soul in the room at night and changes its energy, how much a statue or symbol can, Bringing this achievement is a question that may have occupied many minds.

To find out how many feng shui signs and symbols are on the market, we visit some sculpture shops.
A sales lady whose entire shop is filled with all kinds of statues, including a Buddha statue and a three-legged frog, in response to the question of whether you have a Feng Shui statue in the shop, says with a surprised expression: Feng Shui What is? A young man, who has no news of feng shui symbols in his shop, seems to hear this word for the first time and asks: What kind of statue is it? In Tehran and other cities, feng shui classes are held on a large scale, and some officials of the classes announce that They are licensed, they only register people who are referred by acquaintances.

But what is really in feng shui that fascinates such people? Selling all kinds of its symbols in the market, forming classes and promoting feng shui in search engines with 95 thousand and 100 items, why? Have people really found their lost paradise? Are they looking for a savior?
To better understand the subject, it is appropriate to get acquainted with some Feng Shui symbols.

Familiarity with Feng Shui symbols

In feng shui, they use these symbols to show the right way to divide energy, which are: “Dragon” is a symbol of “Ying” energy and a sign of the element of wood and spring, and its energy is placed on the east or right side of the building. In contrast to the dragon, the “tiger” has the energy of “yin” and the sign of the metal element. “Turtle” is also a symbol of the stability and strength of the back of the earth and buildings. The “red phoenix” is also a symbol of material comfort in life, in contrast to the turtle, a very active mythical animal that is always moving and flying.

Feng Shui is far from scientific indicators

But are feng shui statues really up to the task?  In reply  we say: “Feng Shui” is not a science, but an adaptation to the approaches of the world and the phenomena in the world and how they are related to each other, Feng Shui is an interpretation of the world, life and the place of man in the world and the material dimension.  It takes into account and is several thousand years old, it is one of the Chinese beliefs, therefore it is not a religion.

If they don’t introduce the authentic teachings of Islam sooner, false things will unconsciously fill its place, this is where the need for revelation and infallibility is felt, and when it is said that it is connected to the source of divine knowledge, people will easily accept it, so that Feng Shui has come down to us over the years, and how much it has changed and distorted, it cannot be trusted, but because it answers a need, people welcome it.

Feng Shui tries to repeat Islamic beliefs in another form

Majid Abhari, a member of the academic faculty of Shahid Beheshti University and a researcher of social harms, in response to what should be the approach to feng shui from an Islamic perspective, states: The positive effects of an orderly, clean and happy environment on the human spirit and the development of excellence in his behavior are undeniable, considering that before the phenomenon of feng shui, the school of Islam repeatedly emphasizes the cleanliness of the living environment, its diversity, simplicity and observing the balance of the arrangement in life. It has an emphasis and based on the philosophy in our belief “If you break the heart of every particle, its sunshine is in the middle of the nose” all the particles of life are moving towards excellence and evolution.

He does not consider the promotion of feng shui as a positive effect on people’s happiness or sadness to be a new issue and says: In fact, the repetition of Islamic beliefs is in a different dress and form, the happiness of the home environment is in the cleanliness and simplicity of life, technology tools have no other result than the cost and numerous losses on the nerves and body, recently the losses of microwaves and computers have been discovered. Therefore, some people think that feng shui is a new school, while keeping the living environment clean and arranging changes in them, using tools and equipment that are really needed, refraining from buying and maintaining equipment that is surplus and necessary. It has been emphasized by the imams a thousand years ago.
This social damage researcher says about the effect of feng shui symbols on people: In terms of behavioral pathology, the use of ugly and misshapen statues has a negative effect on people’s subconscious mind and may even make human embryos look like them, so the use of such objects, i.e. “dog head”, “frog” or “mouse” statue in The home environment only causes anxiety and fear in children and has no other benefits.
A faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University explains the reason why some people seek refuge in Feng Shui as follows: Moving away from authentic beliefs leads to taking refuge in such spells and superstitions, such as a lucky bead, opening a statue of luck, or a doll that brings suitors! Such beliefs have been isolated in societies for hundreds of years, I don’t know why today some people are trying to engage our youth with such tools again?! This is part of the cultural alliance that wants to create a distance between authentic Islamic beliefs and the youth.

Feng Shui is a form of modern paganism

Seyyed Kazem Mousavi, director of Roshangar Institute of Studies, points out that Feng Shui originates from the heart of Buddha’s beliefs and does not have a divine view. In fact, feng shui is modern idolatry. Simple living is promoted in Feng Shui, while Islam has looked at simple living as a basic principle, so that simple living in the practical life of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and the Imams, for example, in simple eating, simple dressing, Easy to socialize with people is clearly seen.

He considers feng shui to be a non-stick patch and says: The trend of Feng Shui has a kind of conflict with Islam, therefore scholars and scholars of seminaries and universities should give the necessary awareness to the people about deviant factors and be diligent in interacting with the people and by expressing the beauties along with the verses of the Qur’an and traditions, they should promote the pure Muhammadan Islam. Let people know more and vaccinate the society against cultural nativities.

The necessity of strengthening trust in God and resorting to the Imams of Athar (AS)

Paying attention to the point that feng shui is slowly spreading traps in the social and religious environment of the people and religious researchers should be as diligent as possible in preventing it by correctly introducing it to the people, because the opposite of feng shui is nothing more than distancing man from the origin of existence and decreasing trust. It is not visible in life. A person who captures several metal, wooden and stone symbols from morning to night, what kind of relief will he bring to himself? Indeed, where has the Muslim man placed the Creator of the world in his heart?!

Let us understand the true meaning of life by avoiding apparent and hidden shirk, by strengthening our trust and appeal to God Almighty and the infallible imams, peace be upon them, who are the relationship of God’s grace, and by increasing our relationship with the Creator, let us conquer the world for his sake. .
