1- Preparing for the things that he can do throughout the year, praying for success in this night, and that he can do the most beloved and most pleasing things to God in this night, and God has made this night for him. He made it better than a thousand months, and accepted the deeds of this night from him in this way, and recorded it for him with the highest degrees, and nurtured it until the day of his meeting. He gave him his recognition, love, closeness, shelter, satisfaction and goodness along with his health, and he was pleased with him in such a way that there was no anger after that, and the Prophet and the Imam, especially the Imam of his time, peace be upon him, was pleased with him, and He placed him with them in the Majlis of “Truth” in the presence of the mighty sultan, and may he be successful in doing all he can to obey and obtain his satisfaction, and may his end be close to him and his satisfaction.
He should prepare alms, sweet topics for praying to the Lord, and rousing words throughout the year for this night and prepare the preparations for worship. For example, to choose the right place and clothes and perfume. And consider special guests who are suitable for this night, and some poor people to give charity.
It is worthy that when the night of Qadr approaches, his desire to reach the honors that have been prepared for him in this night has increased, the honor of the high position and the assembly of the presence of the Lord of the worlds and the sanctification of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and the deeds that are His state, sincerity, presence, compassion, purity, and the satisfaction of his master are more appropriate, he chose for his night and sought help from God Almighty in this matter and sought help from his successors – may God’s blessings be upon them.
After determining the time for remembrance, he should choose a suitable time for thinking when he is not sleepy or full or hungry and does not have any other obstacles. Also, he should use all his efforts so that nothing in his night, even permissible things, does not stop him from remembering God, and in his prayers and supplications, he does not think about anything other than that, even the mustahabat.
In order to reach this matter easily, he can think about it briefly before performing an action.
۲٫ At the beginning of the night, seek refuge in the guardian of that night, who is one of the infallibles, peace be upon him, and make him your intercessor. And at this time, success in actions and circumstances that he needs
Mention and try to attract mercy and pity and arouse kindness and dignity and rain clouds of mercy and forgiveness with the words he says to ask for mercy and intercession.
It has been narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: Moses said: My God is near; I want to become you, he said: My closeness is to the one who wakes up in the night of grace.
said: My God, I ask for your mercy, he said: My mercy is from the one who shows mercy to the poor on the Night of Qadr, he said: God, I ask for permission to pass through Sarat, he said: It is for the one who gives alms on the Night of Qadr. My God, I ask for Paradise from the trees, he said: This is the property of the one who says SubhanAllah on the night of Qadr. He said: My God, I want your satisfaction, he said:
My satisfaction is with the one who prays two rakats on the Night of Qadr. He said: My God, I ask for Paradise from the trees, he said: This is for the one who on the night of Qadr…, we have narrations indicating that it is better than a thousand months of Jihad, and than a thousand months of reign. A night that is better than the worship of a thousand months. And in short, it is a noble night that is destined for the servants, their lives and other affairs.
۳٫ Two rak’ahs of prayer, after the praise of Tawheed seven times, and after the prayer seventy times asking for forgiveness and a hundred rak’ahs of prayer and reciting the supplications included in between are among the most important things. Because its contents come from the chests of the religious imams who are the scholars of God. In this supplication, there is precious knowledge that no one knows about except the prophets and their successors. Knowledge such as knowledge of God, the attributes of beauty and glory, good names, levels of grace, wisdom, justice, and the requirements of work and politeness of praying to God Almighty is necessary. And if he can be influenced by what he says and ask for this in his prayer, he should be congratulated. Because if this supplication has no reward and reward from God and only its content is effective in man, then the wise man must sacrifice his soul and life to obtain it. Let alone the fact that God has prepared an answer and a light for every ruling and even every word of it that the world cannot put a price on.
He should also think about the meaning of the words he says and understand them
۴٫ If this amount is not possible, it is better to cry and say:
“What a calamity and what a great punishment.” About the people of the hereafter, it is stated in the hadith of Qudsi: “Their prayers have gone up before God and He hears their words. Angels are happy because of them… God loves to hear their prayers as much as a mother loves her child.
Therefore, O poor man, be fair about the prayer that you recite without the presence of your heart. Do you like that, while God sees that your tongue calls out to him and your heart speaks to the world, your prayers to God reach the world about which it has been said that it is the enemy of God and his friends and wants to be with the blossoms of this world? The mortal world will keep you away from God. Can a wise person imagine a greater calamity than this?
۵٫ Reciting the prayer of opening the Qur’an and placing the Qur’an on the head, with the intention that his intellect and thought will be strengthened by this action and will be completed with the knowledge of the Qur’an, and the light of reason will be added to the light of the Qur’an. and other intentions that are suitable for this action
۶٫ Pilgrimage of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, with some of the pilgrimages he entered
۷٫ Reciting Surah Rum, Ankabut and Dukhan on the twenty-third night.
And reciting the supplications that have been included in these nights, especially the supplication that Syed quoted from some of the ancient books, and the first of which is as follows: “O Allah, if there is doubt in that Night of Decree, in it, in the predestination, it will perish, and in Your unity and purification, the deeds will perish.” ,
O Allah, if there is any doubt that the Night of Qadr is tonight or the nights before it, but there is no doubt about Your Oneness and the fact that You make actions pure. And if he could understand the meaning of the elimination of doubt in God and his oneness, this reward for worshiping that night will be enough for him.
A small prayer narrated by Sayyid from Imam Sajjad, peace be upon him, and the first of which is “Ya Batna Fi Zahoora”
is A prayer that is complete in knowing God alone. And if the presence of the imams, peace be upon them, had no benefit, unless they removed the veil of God’s oneness with such supplications, and informed us of these things, it was necessary for the believer to sacrifice his whole being for this act of theirs. And even sacrificing his whole being is insignificant and he finds himself incapable of thanking their blessings.
۸٫ He set aside an hour of the night for taking care, and in that hour he considered his Lord’s knowledge of his plight and His power to save him, and His grace, forgiveness, and mercy, and then with hope for His forgiveness and mercy. Keep your eyes open and wait for his mercy and forgiveness.
۹٫ Escape from Satan’s temptations
If the watcher does what we have said, good luck to him, and if he does not do it, may Satan tempt him and say: You do not perform the action as you deserve, therefore, this little work is of no use and its absence is better than its existence. Because if he listens to this call of the devil, he will stop him from other actions and destroy him with negligence. But if he does the same action that he intends, even if it is a small action, it is possible that the light of this small action will create another light for the action and make him successful in doing another action and then he will be successful in all actions.
In short, the devil has no intention, except to prevent a person from serving and worshiping his Lord, therefore, if he obeys him, darkness will arise in his heart, which will stop his help and cause him to worship another. He should also leave until God’s help is completely cut off and he will suffer eternal destruction.
۱۰٫ The seeker should not underestimate any good deed, even if it is very small, and leave it because it is small, because he will suffer loss. And he should not consider any good deed as great, because he will be surprised. Also, if he cannot do it, he can do it to the extent that he can do it and after doing it, he will see it as small in front of God. Because whatever action a servant does and considers it small, God considers it great, and maybe this fact will make God Almighty accept it. And when an action is accepted, its quantity will not matter. Because if God accepts an action from his servant, even if it is little, he will reward him greatly. And if he does not accept it, it will not be useful for him, even if it is a lot. Because God accepted Adam’s few actions and rejected the devil’s many actions.
Therefore, the servant should not consider any act as big. Even if it is the worship of jinn and man. Because this is a wonder, and a man’s wonder destroys its reward by his actions. Rather, light turns it into darkness. And he should not consider a small deed as small, because it may be accepted and turn into a big deed.
۱۱٫ May not a person disappoint someone from God’s mercy or cause him not to perform deeds, even if his deed is mixed with darkness.
Perhaps, if this form of action is not abandoned, sometimes it will be accompanied by some divine favors and will create a spirit and truth in the action, and will be effective in enlightening the heart, so that his actions will change completely.
In short, if a drunken person says: “Ya Allah” I don’t think that God rejected him and did not answer him.
In times like this, when God has opened the doors of His mercy more than other times, encouraged His servants to remember, worship and pray to Him, and has guaranteed His special grace for them, the careful servant should consider the direction of hope more and Extend your longing hands towards God’s grace and His many blessings. But in these times, the devil insists on preferring the direction of fear and despair in order to prevent the actions of the servants.
Ending the night of grace
Then, as we have said many times about the honorable nights – these nights are spent by appealing to the protectors of the innocents, entrusting the action to them, presenting it to God with their hands, supplicating to them for the correction of the action and for them to supplicate to God. so that he accepts this act and turns it into a righteous act and cultivates it, and ends this night.
Need for honor day and night
It is mentioned in the narrations that the honor of the night and the day are associated with each other, in the sense that if the day becomes noble, its honor spreads to its night as well, and when the night becomes honorable, its honor spreads to the day as well. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of the days of these nights to be sincere in worship, just as it is necessary during the nights.
