According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency, the closing ceremony of the 5th International Congress of Islamic Humanities and the 4th International Islamic Humanities Award was held on Thursday, December 7, at Imam Khomeini Research Institute.
According to this report, Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi, commentator and top teacher of ethics, glorified and glorified the efforts of Imam Rahal and the Supreme Leader, and said: In such difficult and heavy conditions against Islam and revolution, huge scientific, industrial and military advances have been achieved, which has surprised friends and enemies alike.
He added: Progress has been made in Islamic Iran and in these conditions, which has surprised friends; The great transformation that has occurred in the seminaries and the subject and scope of research and development of scientific and research centers and the increase in the relations between the professors of the seminary and the professors of universities in Iran and around the world is remarkable.
Mesbah Yazdi said: Using the facilities and taking advantage of the conditions are important points that we should be accountable for, that unfortunately we did not take advantage of these unique blessings for progress, especially in the fields of science, culture, Islamic and religious sciences.
He said: In general, it seems that the main issue of these activities has not been properly clarified for many of those who should take a serious step in the movement of Islamic humanities; These people are present both in the field and in the university, who say what do you mean by Islamic humanities?
The head of the Imam Khomeini Research Institute stated: It is necessary and necessary to provide information to a large extent in the field of providing Islamic humanities activities; When we talk about the Islamization of humanities, we must explain its vocabulary and words in the field of imagination.
He said: When the imaginary field is done, we will reach the confirmation field and we will adjust its relations; After the establishment of the Islamic system, the Islamization of universities and humanities was discussed, but this topic has not yet been clarified at the public level.
The thinker of Islamic philosophy stated: It is true that we have special sciences and subjects that discuss in their own frameworks, but we differ even in recognizing and recognizing the subject; We, who say that the subject of this is human sciences, should specify what human being we are talking about? Are we discussing human being as a living being with physical indicators or are we discussing human nature.
He added: Man never says that this body is a man, but childhood is also a stage of human existence, but from the perspective of Islam, a real man is the one who, according to the Qur’an, is sent by the entirety of this man; Resurrecting is not the definitive nature and function of man, but man becomes a messenger and this mission continues forever.
Misbah Yazdi said: Put this definition of Islam together with the definition of human being in Western universities, so that it is clear where the definition of human is. That man and his human existence continue after death and forever, defines a human being other than the human being introduced in the western centers.
He said: After this definition, we can discuss environmental factors before sperm coagulation, during pregnancy, and after birth, environmental factors and family, etc. When these topics are discussed, we can also talk about responsibility and duty, but if we do not accept these definitions, we will definitely not reach such a position.
The head of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) Educational Research Institute, referring to the second embryonic period in human life, said: In the second embryonic period, free will plays an essential role, and this same free will determines the duty of man to be placed in eternity.
Mentioning that some Western psychologists define the body only in body interactions, he said: With this definition, psychology is a branch of biology; Is the problem of western psychology and Islamic psychology the same?
The thinker of Islamic philosophy stated: If we consider the right way of research to be only objective experiences resulting from sense, many social sciences will be out of the scope of science because these sciences, including theology, etc., cannot be measured and classified in the laboratory.
He added: Divine values cannot be measured by sensory experience; Some Western philosophers said that morality is also a so-called “I-derived” principle, because the principle is power, and all affairs are formed according to power, and it does not have principles such as local ethics and compassion from the Arabs.
Misbah Yazdi said: If we believe that beside sense, there is a source called intellect that understands facts and based on that, axioms and finally proofs are formed, and as a result, certain results are obtained, all these matters become objective.
He said: Sense and experience take their validity from reason because sense can also fall into error; until the axioms of reason are not achieved, sensory institutions also have no place in Arabs; When the intellect proves God and the Prophet, another chapter opens for the origin of knowledge; When the issue of whether religion is a sensory or certain scientific category has not been resolved in the universities, we cannot give a correct opinion on this matter.
The head of Imam Khomeini Research Institute (R.A.) mentioned this fact that some university professors still think that all sciences should be summed up in the field of experience and sense. The imagination of many respected professors of our universities is in such an atmosphere, but they do not update these topics; But the question is that in order to solve this dilemma, several books and articles have been written and several specialized meetings have been held to explain this issue so that the view of the professors can be reviewed in a scientific journal.
He said: For us, the principle is certainties that are supported by intellectual axioms; Today, the trend that was prevalent among a group of people more than 2,000 years ago (skepticism) exists today for some scientists as well; Sometimes we see that a prominent professor cannot reach a clear scientific and research methodical view and reason because of this skepticism.
The thinker of Islamic philosophy stated: In order to be motivated for the research method, we must know what we are looking for; If all our scientific activities end with the development of welfare and material life, and even the requirement of justice is interpreted as the convenience of people, then we are in fact a child who has reached the age of 80.
At the end of his speech, he said: Knowing the topics and issues and methods of work and discussion are three areas that can lead us to know the nature of religious science; Validation of methods in this field is very important and effective; Nothing can be compared to infinity and the knowledge of this infinite nature can be compared to the knowledge of children.
