The British Prime Minister considered the colonial history of his country as the cause of many ongoing tensions and wars in the world.
According to Mehr news agency, “David Cameron” during his visit to Pakistan, told the students that Britain’s colonial history is the cause of many problems in the world, including the Kashmir conflict. Cameron said these words in response to a question about the resolution of the Kashmir conflict. The British Prime Minister added: Britain has been the cause of several wars. He specifically said in connection with the Kashmir crisis: I cannot interfere in this matter… First of all, we (Britain) are responsible for the formation of the Kashmir crisis. The establishment of the illegitimate state of Israel in the Middle East, the overthrow of Mossadegh’s government in Iran, and the separation of Bahrain Island from our country are among the black actions that Britain has taken towards the Middle East region, but Cameron did not mention any of the above. Cameron’s statements have been met with reaction and protest from some English circles. Although with such statements, Cameron intends to keep himself away from the spirit of colonialism, but in practice, he continues the same colonial practice of England. |
