A mother after three years of Zionist prison

– My name is Noura Mohammad Shukri Al-Hashlomon, I am 40 years old, and I was captured on September 17, 2006, when the Zionist soldiers attacked our house at midnight.
: Tell us about how you were captured and after!
– First of all, I must say that when I was captured, my husband was not at home and in fact he is in Israeli prisons. At night, I suddenly heard the sound of breaking windows and slamming the door with the loud cursing of the Zionist soldiers. When I opened my eyes, I saw them above my head. They insulted me in front of my children and said that they have a warrant to arrest me.
When they wanted to take me, my two-year-old daughter “Seraya” was in my arms, they asked me to put her on the ground and go with them, which I did not accept and there was a fierce argument between me and that Zionist officer. He also forcefully and brutally pulled my daughter out of my arms and after tying my hands and eyes in front of my children while they were crying and calling me, they took me away.
My children were completely alone after I was captured, because they had lost both their father and mother. Of course, the Zionist soldiers did not limit themselves to tying my hands and eyes, but they beat me severely in front of my children and asked me to take off my clothes, which I refused, but they took off my headscarf.
After that, I was taken to the Zionist settlement of “Kariat Arba” in a military jeep and remained blindfolded. During this time, they kept cursing me and some of the soldiers beat me severely and prevented me from going to the bathroom or toilet.
After that, I was transferred to Etzion Detention Center and from there to Ashkelon Prison. In fact, it was after I was transferred to Ashkelon prison that my pain and suffering started, because I was diagnosed with kidney disease there, and when I informed them that I had kidney disease and needed dialysis, they were indifferent to this issue. They did not show any attention, they used my being sick as a factor to put pressure on me.

: Tell us about the time of your interrogation and how the Zionist officers treated you!

– Before stating the circumstances of the interrogation, I must say that before I entered the stage of investigation and interrogation, I was interrogated by the Zionist officers and they interrogated me naked.
But about the investigation and interrogation stage, we must say that this stage is one of the hardest and worst stages; they put me hand and foot blindfolded on the famous “ghost” interrogation chair, and during the interrogation they kept telling me that you are a member of the Islamic Jihad movement and an intelligence officer. They wanted my father and brother.
First, the investigating officer showed me pictures of some prisoners and said that they exposed me, of course, I was being interrogated by several officers and they were changing their positions in order and each of them adopted a specific method against me. One was through humanity and philanthropy, and the other was through cruelty and threats and putting all kinds of mental and physical pressure on me.
During the entire interrogation, they beat me and played with my emotions, one of them told me that: You have been married for four years and how come you have six children? Where did you get these children from? I spent eight days in this situation, and during this time I was deprived of sleep, food, rest, and going to the bathroom.

: Did your harassment end here and what actions did you take to protest against these tortures and harassment?

– Of course, their harassment and torture did not end here, and after transferring me to “Hesharon” prison, they placed me in the women’s criminal section, where women who had criminal records such as committing murder were kept, which I am in this position. I protested, and thank God, after two days of strike, I was transferred to another part of the prison where administrative detainees were kept.

: Did you object to the rulings issued against you and ask for a reconsideration of them?

– Yes, after the 27-day sentence was announced, I went on strike. In the sentence, I was told that I should be deported to Jordan without my children for three years. After this, I went on strike, they transferred me to solitary cells and refused to give me salt, which is the right of prisoners during a strike. The cell I was transferred to was a dark and dark cell with broken glass on the floor and the prison officials prevented me from cleaning the floor.
After 12 days of the strike, they told me that: Due to the deterioration of your physical condition, we want to take you to the hospital for treatment. But then I was surprised to see that they took me to another center for interrogation in order to pressure me to stop the strike.
After that, their threats started again and this time they brought our children to see me with an old man who they said was a sheikh, he asked me to cooperate with the Zionists and save myself from the danger in which I have been caught which I did not accept.

: How long were you in solitary confinement?
– A whole month.
: How did you stop the strike?
– After giving in to my demands, I stopped the strike, my demands were freedom after spending the time of captivity and the possibility of talking to my children on the phone and meeting them, as well as agreeing to a private meeting with my brother.
: Tell us about the first moment you entered the prison?

– For the first time, when I entered the prison and saw the conditions there, I was very surprised, because I had heard about the conditions there, but I had not touched it and had not seen it with my eyes.

: How was the food situation in the prisons of the Zionist regime?

– The condition of the food was very bad and unfortunate, apart from the very low quality, there was very little and it did not feed anyone, and in some cases, poisoning was observed among the prisoners, which indicated that the food was rotten.

: What were your bitterest memories from the time of captivity?

– The stripping of the captives, which I was waiting for from 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which was accompanied by cursing, and also when they put me in the prison of female criminals, I was very tormented.

: Does captivity affect the thoughts and minds of captives and weaken them?

– No, on the contrary, it adds to their resistance and standing to continue the struggle.

: What characters were you influenced by in prison?

– I was influenced by many prisoners, including “Kahir al-Saadi” who was like a mother to me and completely understood both my feelings and I understood her feelings, as well as “Lina Al-Jarbouni” whose sentence was too much and she spent a long time He is in the prisons of the Zionist regime.

: How did you feel when you were separated from your children, especially when your wife was in captivity and was away from your family and children?

– It is a very bitter feeling that cannot be described, I always saw them in my dreams, especially when something happened to them, I saw it in my dreams at night. The thought and imagination of my children had made me sleep and eat in such a way that it led to my illness. Meeting with my children was considered the best and most beautiful time for me in those moments.

: Tell us about your free time and how your children welcomed you?

– I was released from prison three months earlier than my wife; Exactly on August 31, 2008, when I returned home, I saw that the condition of my children is much more miserable than what I imagined, and they were wandering when their parents were not on top of them, and most importantly, that a big blow had been inflicted on their studies, but now God Shaker is in a good condition, after the release of my husband, our condition improved again, but unfortunately, after a short time, he was captured again.

: Did you have an encounter with the prison guards there?

– Once when I was transferred to Hasharon prison, I met a prisoner who had lost consciousness and the prison guards did not take any action to treat or help him. I protested, but instead they transferred me to solitary confinement.

: Were the interrogators male or female?

– All were men.

: Tell us about the diseases you suffered in prison?

– I suffer from severe kidney discomfort and I was poisoned several times in prison, so they transferred me to the hospital for treatment. I will take

: What scares Zionists the most and how much do they fear the Islamic Republic of Iran?

– Regarding Iran, I must say that I thank the people and leadership of Iran for their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, but what they are afraid of more than anything else is the defeat of the Islamic world, I mean Hezbollah or Hamas. The defeat of Hezbollah in 2006 was very expensive for them.
