Hazrat Ali Akbar (a.s.), the son of Abi Abdullah al-Hussain (a.s.), according to a narration, was born on the 11th of Sha’ban, 43 lunar year, in Madinah al-Munawarah. His beloved father is Imam Hussain bin Ali bin Abi Talib (a.s.) and his respected mother is Lili bint Abi Murrah bin Urwa bin Masoud Thaqafi. And it is related to great people such as the Prophet of Islam (pbuh), Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh), Commander of the Faithful Ali bin Abi Talib (pbuh) and Imam Hussain (pbuh).
Abolfaraj Esfahani narrated from Mugheera: One day, Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan said to his friends and neighbors: In your opinion, who is the most deserving and deserving person of the Ummah for the caliphate? The people around said: We do not know anyone more worthy of the Caliphate than you! Muawiya said: This is not so.
Rather, the most deserving person for the caliphate is Ali ibn al-Hussein (a.s.), whose grandfather is the Messenger of God (pbuh), and in whom the courage and bravery of the Bani Hashim, the generosity of the Umayyad Bani, and the pride and magnificence of Thafif were crystallized.  Is.
It is narrated that one day Ali Akbar (pbuh) went to the Governor of Medina  And on behalf of their honorable father, he sent a message to him. At the end, the governor of Medina asked Ali Akbar what is your name? said: Ali asked the name of your brother? said: Ali that person got angry, and said several times: Ali, Ali, Ali “Do you want us, my father?” » What does your father want, he names his children Ali. Ali Akbar (A.S.) took this message to Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (A.S.), he said: By Allah, if the Lord has dozens of male children  I will name all of them Ali, and if she gives me dozens of daughters, I will name them all Fatima.
It was said about the character of Ali Akbar (a.s.) that he was a handsome, beautiful, well-spoken and brave young man, and in terms of character, temperament, and good-looking face, he was the most similar to the Holy Prophet (p.a.) He inherited from his grandfather Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) and was full of perfections, blessings and virtues. In a narration quoted by Sheikh Jafar Shushtri, it is stated in the book “Characteristics of Al-Husainiyyah”: When Aba Abdullah al-Hussein was sending Ali Akbar to the field, he addressed the army and said:“O people, hola.”  Ghod Barz Alaihim Ghulam, people similar to Allah’s Messenger in nature and in nature and logic.…… O people, be witnesses, I will send a boy to the field, who is the most similar to the Messenger of God (PBUH) in terms of temperament and logic. Know that we always miss the Messenger of God (PBUH). We could look at this boy’s face.
According to Abul Faraj Esfahani, he was born during the caliphate of Uthman bin Affan (the third caliph of the Rashiduns). This statement is based on the fact that he was twenty-five years old at the time of his martyrdom. In some narrations, his age is mentioned as 28 years old.  His father, Imam Hussain (a.s.) was educated, developed and perfected in Madinah and Kufa.
Imam Hussain (AS) in his upbringing and education  Quran, Islamic knowledge and political and social information made an eloquent effort to him and made him a complete and exemplary human being and aroused the surprise of everyone, including his enemies.
In any case, Ali Akbar (a.s.) was an active presence in the Ashura story and was by his father Imam Hussain’s (a.s.) side in all situations and fought hard against his enemies. Shaykh Jafar Shushtri narrates in his characteristics: When Aba Abdullah al-Hussein, peace be upon him, was moving towards Karbala in his caravan, he gave the Prophet (pbuh) a state called Numiya, and in that state, a revelation occurred to the Prophet (pbuh), he recalled from that state: And he said: Ali Akbar (a.s.) was with his father, and he knew that the Imam did not utter a word in vain, so he asked, father, why did you recall? Hazrat Bodrang said: Now I saw this caravan going to the slaughterhouse and death is waiting for us, Ali Akbar (AS) asked: Father John, aren’t we right? Hazrat said: Yes, we are right. Ali Akbar (AS) offered: After death, we have no regrets.
It should be noted that, even though Hazrat Ali Akbar (a.s.) was connected and related to three famous Arab clans, nevertheless, on the day of Ashura and during the battle with Yazid’s soldiers, he did not make any reference to his attribution to Bani Umayyad and Thafif, but rather Hashemi considered it his honor to be a member of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), and he wrote this song in Rajazi:

I am Ali bin Al-Hussein bin Ali Nahn  Beit Allah Awli or Lanbi

I beat you with Lasif, even the beating of a Hashemi Alawi slave

And this day will never be forgotten by Abi Ta’Allah, nor will he judge us.

He was the first martyr of Bani Hashem on the day of Ashura, and it is also mentioned in the pilgrimage of famous martyrs:Peace be upon you, O first slain from the good generation of Salil. Ali Akbar (a.s.) killed two hundred of Omar Saad’s army in two stages in the battle of Ashura day, and finally Marra bin Munqidh Abdi struck his blessed division and seriously injured him. Then other enemies gained courage  And they attacked him and targeted him with the blade of the sword and the tip of the spears and oppressed him to martyrdom.
Imam Hussain (a.s.) was very sad and affected during his martyrdom and cried a lot when he parted, and when he held his bloody head in his arms, he said: Waldi Ali Ali Al-Duniya Baadek Al-Afa
There is a dispute about his age at the time of martyrdom. Some say eighteen years old, some say nineteen years old  And some people say that he was twenty-five years old. However, historians and biographers do not agree on the fact that he was older or younger than Imam Zain al-Abidin (a.s.), another son of Imam Hussain (a.s.). A tradition has been narrated from Imam Zain al-Abidin (a.s.) which indicates that he was younger than Ali Akbar (a.s.). He said: If my brother would say to me, Ali is the greatest, I am the murderer of people…
Tomb of Hazrat Ali Akbar peace be upon him  In Karbala, Maali is the foot of Aba Abdullah al-Hussein, peace be upon him, and in the greeting of Ashura pilgrimage, it means Ali Ali Ibn al-Hussein , Agha Ali Akbar, peace be upon him .
