The dictators of the region are worried about the repetition of this sad scenario for themselves after observing the type of reaction of America against allies like “Hosni Mubarak” and “Ben Ali”. According to Fars, according to the American Public Diplomacy Research Institute, the way the United States acts towards its key allies, especially when faced with popular revolutions, has “caused the dictators ruling some countries in the region to be deeply worried.”
In this report, several examples of America’s cowardly actions towards its friends and allies are mentioned, which makes it easy to understand the reason for the concern of the allied dictators of this country.
In a part of this report we read: In April 1961, the United States armed 14 exiled Cuban soldiers and sent them to the Bay of Pigs on the southern coast of this country to overthrow Fidel Castro. But Fidel Castro’s fierce resistance forced the American mercenaries to retreat in less than 48 hours. The reaction of the President of the United States at the time was nothing but leaving all the soldiers alone who were eventually killed or captured. Interestingly, a group of these soldiers who were killed were Americans. After half a century of this operation, we can see that such an approach still casts a shadow on the behavior of the political rulers of this country. Now that it is the turn of countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, Jordan, etc., the rulers of these countries are extremely worried about the fate of Hosni Mubarak, Ben Ali and Gaddafi.
In the final part of this report, it is stated that “Henry Kissinger”, the former Secretary of State of the United States, said in a thoughtful irony, “Being an enemy of the United States may be dangerous, but being a friend of the United States is dangerous and deadly.”
A brief overview of the political history of the United States clearly shows that the rule of the United States has been that in order to protect its global interests and credibility, it has repeatedly abandoned its closest allies and friends, and certainly the current allies of this country in the region, which with its rise are faced with, they will not be exempted from this rule.
