Satan’s domination over man

The Messenger of God (PBUH) said:

Musa (a.s.) was sitting when Satan suddenly came to him and he was wearing a long, colorful hat. When he got close to Moses (a.s.), he took off his hat and stood at the service of Musa (a.s.) and greeted him.

Moses said: Who are you?!

He said: I am the devil.

Musa said to him: What is this hat?

He said: With this hat, I will steal the heart of a man.

Musa (pbuh) said: Tell me about the sin that a human being commits, and you dominate him?

The devil said: When he likes himself and considers his actions high and his sins become small in his eyes.

Then the Prophet (PBUH) said:

Almighty God said to David (AS): O David, give glad tidings to sinners and frighten the righteous.

Dawood (pbuh) said: How can I give glad tidings to the sinners and scare the righteous?!

He said, O David (pbuh), give glad tidings to sinners that I accept repentance and forgive sins, and scare the righteous so that they will not be aware of their deeds, because there is no servant that I will take into account, except for the one who perishes.

God, we act with grace and without interaction
