to report ISNA has recently published a documentary titled “Zahur is very near” in a very wide number of public circles, and the office of Grand Ayatollah Behjat has published an article about the emergence, according to the quotes attributed to this taqlid authority.
Question: It is reported from some elders that Grand Ayatollah Behjat (RA) said: Until now, we gave good news to young people that they will understand the advent of Imam Zaman (A.S.), but now we also give good news to the old people that they will see the era of advent. Is this article referable to Grand Ayatollah Behjat (RA) or not?
Response: 1- Incidentally, Grand Ayatollah Behjat (RA) was asked about this, and he said: A man came to me at the altar of the mosque and said to me: I reached the service of Hazrat (peace be upon him) and asked Zohor whether I understand Zohor. Then, Ayatollah Azami Behjat narrated the mentioned contents from this person. Therefore, Grand Ayatollah Behjat (RA) did not tell the story directly, but he narrated it from someone else.
۲- He also said: If it was necessary to say these things, I would have said them to my students.
۳- It is possible that as Mr. Mokirs said, this article refers to a personal appearance and not a public appearance.
۴- It is possible that such statements are about “they are unlikely to go astray and they are not likely to go astray”.
