Synopsis
Sangsar Soraya M. It is the name of a movie directed by Siros Noorste, produced in 2008, USA. This movie is based on a book of the same name (1994) written by Fereydoun Sahib Jam and its story takes place in Iran in 1986.
Shahreh Aghdashlo has appeared as Zahra and Jim (James) Caviezel as a French journalist. The main producer of this film is “MPower Pictures” company, and the script was written by Cyrus Noorste along with his wife Betsy Giffen Noorste. Norste said in an interview that Soraya’s stoning movie made in the Middle East region, but did not mention its country. According to Aghdashloo (one of Baha’i actors of the film) The film was filmed in Jordan.[1]
The screenplay of this movie was written by his wife, Betsy Nurste, who is also a screenwriting graduate from the University of Miami. In addition to Shahreh Aghdashlo (one of The actors of Bahai Film (and Jim Caviezel, Parviz Sayad, Vida Garhami, Navid Garhani, Ali Portash and Mohammad Yazdani also play in this movie). The role of Soraya is also played by a young actress named Mejan Marno.
All this story was told by Zahra (Soraya’s aunt, played by Shahreh Aghdashloo) (one of The Baha’i actors of the film (tells a French journalist that his car has broken down by the way). Zahra sees her and tells her about the stoning of her niece.
Review of the story of the film
In this film, Soraya, who has a husband, is accused of adultery, and Ali (Soraya’s husband) and Hashem (from Ahali Deh) testify about Soraya’s adultery with Hashem, and Soraya is sentenced to stoning for adultery.
The author of the story of the film claims that the stoning of Soraya was done according to the laws of Islam, so to check the truth of the author’s claim, we will check the following points:
A- Definition of zina: Adultery is sexual intercourse between a man and a woman who is forbidden to him. [2] 3]
If an adulterous man has a wife, they say that this man has committed adultery, and if an adulterous woman has a husband, they say that this woman’s adultery is adultery. 4]
Adultery is proven in two ways: 5]
First: A person should confess 4 times and say that I committed adultery and know the concept of adultery and say that I knew it was forbidden but I did it. [6] [7]
Second: The testimony of 4 righteous and wise men with the following conditions.
In this movie, the crime of adultery is proven through testimony. Accepting the testimony of witnesses has difficult conditions, and if one of the witnesses does not meet one of these conditions, all four witnesses will be sentenced to the extent of adultery and flogged for the crime of slandering adultery (on a woman or a man). Qazf [8] means to accuse someone of adultery [9]. Whoever slanders and does not have 4 witnesses will receive 80 lashes.
B- The conditions for accepting the testimony of witnesses [10] are :
First: There should be 4 witnesses, while 2 people testify in the movie. If there are less than 4 witnesses, they will be flogged for the crime of slandering a woman.[11]
Second: The witness must be fair and the fairness of the witness must be proven, and if his fairness is not clear, his testimony will not be accepted. If 3 righteous people testify and the 4th person is not justified, all 4 people will be flogged for the crime of slandering a woman.
In this movie, Ali (Soraya’s husband) is one of the witnesses and he does actions that indicate his immorality, so his testimony is not accepted.
Third: The witness must be wise and mature, and the testimony of someone who has not reached maturity is not accepted. In the film, they first look for the testimony of Hashem’s son, who is not an adult and is a child, and Ali Al-Zahir also has mental problems.
Fourth: The testimony of witnesses must be clear and unambiguous and documented by observation, and conjectural testimony is not valid. [12] Therefore, 4 witnesses must see the penetration of a man into a woman, and the testimony based on what I have seen in the video and photos is not valid. If 3 witnesses say that we saw the penetration with our eyes, but the 4th person says that he saw it in a video or a photo taken of it and I testify based on that, all 4 people will be flogged for the crime of slandering the woman. Also, if the 4th person Based on the words of 3 other people, guess that this happened, all 4 people will be whipped for the crime of slandering a woman.
In the film of the stoning of Soraya, witnesses testify to issues such as Soraya sleeping because of a headache and Soraya laughing while talking to Hashem, which have nothing to do with a sexual act between a man and a woman.
Fifth: When the witnesses state the characteristics of the testified, these characteristics must not differ in terms of time and place and the like. [13] In case of a difference between the witnesses, in addition to the fact that adultery is not proven, the witnesses are also condemned to the extent of adultery and flogged. be. For example, if 3 of the witnesses say that we saw the woman in adultery on the bed and the 4th person says that I saw her in adultery on the ground, all 4 of them will be flogged for the crime of slandering the woman.
In this film, Ali (Soraya’s husband) testifies to Soraya’s laughing and being pulled by Hashem’s hand, and Hashem to Soraya’s falling asleep because of a headache. That is, the subject of testimony is different in terms of time, place and subject.
Sixth: The witnesses must have observed the crime at the same time [14] and for example, if 3 people say we saw this woman committing adultery in the morning and the fourth person says I saw this woman committing adultery in the afternoon, all 4 people will be flogged for the crime of slandering the woman.
Read the other reasons in the article!!!
Seventh: Witnesses must testify at the same time [15] and if 3 people come together to the judge and testify and the 4th person arrives a little later to testify before the judge and testify, all four people will be whipped.
Eighth: All the qualities and details of the testimony of the four witnesses must match [16] and if, for example, one or two people report from a different place and angle, the crime will not be proven.
Ninth: The witnesses must come voluntarily and there should be no reluctance. While in this film, Hashem testifies because he and his child were threatened.
Tenth: Their testimony should be that they have seen the act of adultery according to the jurisprudential term (kalmil fi al-makhlah)[17] [18], which means that the same type of iron rod is placed in the iron rod. It is necessary to explain that sexual intercourse is not the act of sleeping between a man and a woman, but the same way that the rod of the penis is inserted into the penis.
According to the conditions that were mentioned (seeing such as the placement of the sarmedan rod inside the sarmedan), we come to the conclusion that the fulfillment of the conditions of adultery is almost impossible for witnesses[19], because no wise man or woman would do this (especially with the condition) Finally) they do not do it in front of 4 just people whose justice has been proven.[20]
On the other hand, the testimony of Hashem (from the people of Ten) against Soraya (Ali’s wife) is not accepted because in this case he is a womanizer, and the testimony of a womanizer (an adulterous man) is not accepted against a womanizer (a woman who commits adultery), and if he does not bring 4 witnesses, he himself For slandering a woman, she is whipped. Quran says in Surah Noor verse 4 [21] about people who slander married women and do not bring 4 witnesses: وَ الَّذِینَ یَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصنَاتِ ثمَّ لَمْ یَأْتُوا بِأَرْبَعَةِ شهَدَاءَ فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَانِینَ جَلْدَةً وَ لا تَقْبَلُوا لهُمْ شهَادَةً أَبَداً وَ أُولَئک هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَون کسانى که زنان پاکدامن را متهم مى کنند سپس چهار شاهد (بر ادعاى خود) نمىآورند آنها را هشتاد تازیانه بزنید، و شهادتشان را هرگز نپذیرید , and they are immoral.
Proof of adultery has other conditions. For example, if all the above conditions are met, but the adulterer says that he did not have access to my wife while doing this (for example, my wife was in another city or in prison) or my wife was not able to have intercourse (due to addiction), he will not be stoned[22] and will only be punished. . [23]
Stoning in Iran
Considering the difficult conditions that exist to prove adultery, why are some people stoned to death in Iran?
Examining the samples shows that the disclosure of some adultery was because the girl or woman became pregnant and the complaint of the girl or woman made the child’s father confess to the adultery and the crime was proven through confession[24].
A chaste marriage with an adulterer is forbidden
If a person’s adultery is proven (and he is sentenced to a punishment such as whipping), believing women and men (who know about this matter) have no right to marry him, and only adulterers can marry adulterers.
The Qur’an says in Surah Noor verse 24 about adulterous men and women: Al-khabeishattu lilkhabeithin wa al-khabeithoon lilkhabeithaat means evil and impure women (adulterous women) are evil men (adulterous men) and impure, and impure men also belong to impure women.[25] ]
On the other hand, the Quran says about chaste men and women: والتَّيّيّباتو للطَّيِّبينَ وَالَّّيِّبونَ اللَطّيّبَة [۲۶] means that good and pure women belong to good and pure men, and pure and good men belong to those pure and good women.
One of the reasons for the ruling that a chaste person should not marry an adulterer is to punish the adulterer and to clarify the ugliness of this act.
Conclusion:
If the story of the film is true and the stoning of Soraya took place in the village of Kohpayeh, the people who were involved in the murder of Soraya (Ali Shohar Soraya, Hasan Rohani ten and Ibrahim Kodkhodai ten) are convicted of intentional murder and in addition to retribution, they must be punished for their relationship. Unfair to Soraya, the sentence of blasphemy should be imposed on them. Other people, if they are deceived, the verdict of participation in Unintentional murder is carried out in their case.
Soraya’s stoning film attributes things to Islam that do not exist in Islam, and in other words, the film is full of lies that are attributed to Islam.
Islam does not seek to reveal sexual relations that are outside the framework of Sharia and has set difficult conditions for witnesses to keep this issue secret.
Movies like this seek to shake the faith of young people in Islam and try to deceive young people and make them pessimistic about Islam with false reports.
A reasoned response to such films can prevent young people from being deceived by filmmakers who tell lies.
In the movie Soraya, two things are discussed together:
False promoters in the name of Islam take advantage of people’s ignorance
In Islam, there are laws that kill people based on absurd slander
In this article, I only dealt with the second aspect and expressed the fact that Islam does not want sexual violations to be exposed, and to prove it, it has set conditions that are almost impossible to achieve.
So, we conclude that the film “Stoning Soraya” which claims “with the testimony of two people, one of whom (Ali) is famous for his crimes and the other (Hashem) as a womanizer, it is possible to kill a chaste woman and this murder It is the basis of Islamic laws”, he lies
I just wanted to raise the laws of Islam and say that they lie to Islam
Regarding the presenters who abuse religion in this movie (Ali and Hassan), I left it to the readers to judge whether a movie that has attributed so much lies to Islam, can be honest in other parts?
If with such bad We encountered users, what is our duty? Knowing the laws of Islam, we should not allow people to use their ignorance and carry out any lie they want in the name of religion.
If I write the rules of Islam regarding temporary marriage, you will realize the lies that have been attributed to Islam.
